The theme was, but that actual movie was campy borderline comedy to me.

Midnight Meat Train was creepier...(shudders)

It’s the fictional idea of legit monsters operating behind the scenes to orchestrate as much violence as possible to get as much human blood, food....like da fukk?!

And the idea that they been around longer than time...fully infiltrated into our governing infrastructures...that’s some truly scary fiction that taps into a type of collective social helplessness and shock and despair.
