Varinius gives Seppia the honor of dealing the final blow, but when Acer looks into her eyes, she cannot kill him. Ilithyia, eager to gain Varinius' attention, takes the chance and casually ends Acer's life with a sword-thrust to the abdomen.

Basically they drag you along the bottom of the ship that is covered in barnacles which shreds your skin off...They literally showed sons skin tearing off as he's being dragged...
