The Traps of Unified Korea
I hope no one is in here forgetting an old Oscar almost smothered Floyd enough to win a decision.:hubie:

Oscar is a bad match-up for Floyd.

And if anyone brings up Sweet Pea like he and Floyd defend the same way :beli:

Pea never presented himself in the shell just asking to be smothered like Floyd did. Oscar's size, jab (slept on ATG jab), willingness to be a pressure/smother fighter when the situation called for it, and stamina (again, in his prime), plus those round stealing flurries judges loved is a bad look for Floyd.

Oscar SD.

Shane wasnt in his prime in 2006. You are a boxing casual if you think the Margo fight was his best fight as well.

Best version of Shane was at lightweight. It would have been amazing to see floyd and shane fight at lightweight.

Best shane fight to me was the jesse james leija fight. I remember that like yesterday
shane wasn't in his prime, but he was closer to it if we are talking from a age prospective
he gives off this image as if floyd was ducking him, but mosley wanted no parts of him on 2 separate occasions

once at 140, and once at 140 or 147

the fight could of never happened at lightweight but if did, mosley woulda got fukked up
floyds a different class of boxer than him, especially at those lower weights
mosley is still a great fighter

best fight is a matter of opinion, what he did to cheato was a clinic to me and it was his best fight all things considered

Shane never fought at 140.
He skipped 140 and went straight to 147 and fought at 154 as well.
So how did Shane duck Floyd once at 140?

He stepped aside for him for Oscar, that is about it.
That said its clear you either are a relatively recent newcomer to the sport talking about a legend as wrong as you are. LOL.

i never said shane fought at 140:mjlol:
u beginning to sound desperate now, cause you are starting to make shyt up:mjlol:

the first time mosley ducked he was at 135, floyd was at 130. Mosley was growing out of 135, so mosley coulda moved up one weight class (which is natural progession) and floyd woulda moved up 2 and they coulda met at 140. Mosley moved up 2 weight classes to fight de la hoya at 147 instead of fighting floyd at 135 or 140.

then when floyd moved up to welterweight, mosley said he had a toothache lol

when floyd was the money man, mosley came out with the duckin shyt out of no where and im just saying if you follow the sport, you know thats bullshyt lol

you can't play those "casual fan" games with me breh:russ:

i said mosley is a great fighter, hes just not a top 5-10 fighter of all time and there's nothin wrong with that. mayweather is a different class fighter den he is.

it is what it is:yeshrug:

You might want to check what you actually typed and not what you thought you typed.
You literally said Shane ducked Floyd at 140 and at 140 or 147.
He can't duck Floyd at a division he never fought in.

Now you are changing your story and saying Shane ducked Floyd at 135, you probably didn't know what lightweight was and just looked it up.
He didn't duck Floyd when he left 135 to go up and fight Oscar the top WW for the title at 147. That literally makes no sense to make the claim you are making.
Its the equivalent of saying Floyd ducked Margo to go up at 154 to fight De La Hoya. SMH

Shane did duck floyd and step aside so Oscar could have his rematch, that isn't denied. That has nothing to do with me saying I think prime for prime Shane beats Floyd.

Now stop faking casual.

mosley was offered a floyd mayweather at 140
he declined, i dont no what else to tell you:mjlol:

it was offered at weight because mosley said he was growing out of 135. obviously floyd would of prefferred to have it at 135, mosley said no.

u got the timelines all mixed up

lets just end this here, i feel like im talkin to a wall

How is it a duck when he went to 147 to fight Oscar.
Like I typed before, if that is "ducking " floyd then Floyd ducked Margo when he fought Oscar at 154.

The only "duck" was when shane stepped aside the call out from Floyd for the Oscar 2 bout with the "toothache" that was a legit duck.

That said prime Mosley 135 vs prime Floyd would have been special.

i dont blame him for fighting oscar instead of floyd
i said he had chances to fight floyd and he turned them down, and then years later pretended like floyd was duckin him/ never wanted to fight him, and he did.
thats all im saying

Mosley is bitter and got man handled for 11 rounds by Floyd, after he asked for the fight.

Dude became pathetic towards the end of his career.

That wasn't prime Mosely tho.. Mayweather outside of Canelo.. dodged prime fighters. Not saying Mayweather wouldnt win.. but just sayin
