One of the few Conscious Rap artists that really tried sending his message without being condescending or having ulterior motives, of course with successful results. When you think about it, lots of rappers don't have general regard, or respect for their own community unless they can gain something from it. If the Conscious Rap pundits have to do this to everyone in the culture who doesn't have the same beliefs, ideologies, cultural attitudes, etc., they should be anything BUT a public/motivational speaker. No sense in bringing someone down to only try and persuade you're " for uplifting the people".
