No one wants to house them and the cost of security for a trial was immense from what I recall.


We've put other terrorists on trial and have for decades. Personally I don't understand the hypocrisy.



I feel that the feds should have been able to deal with all aspects but "states rights" and all got in the way.

i have no idea what the hell 88m3 is talking about, but the reason why they are at guantanamo is that they have no evidence or the evidence would not be permissible in a regular court and if they let them go they might return to terrorism

in other words they are to dangerous to let go and its too iffy to put them on trial

there is no end game, the end game is too keep these people away from civilization as long as possible
