Unrelated but at this point in time...Talib >>>>>>>>>>>> Mos/Yasin

Talib has been keeping it consistent and getting slept on IMO. The New Danger and the Ecstatic were...meh. He has moments where he does things like "Katrina Clap" and records songs with Mannie Fresh for an album that will probably never see the light of day. Does he even care anymore about hip-hop like that?

Sad, cause I was listening to his older stuff and it's way too obvious he just don't have the same passion for the game anymore.

The African Diaspora
what this thread painfully points out is the fact that some of you cant distinguish African (in this case traditional West African) garments
from Europea (Western) skirts and or dresses.
Now i dont know if some of y'all are trolling or not but it seems that every piece of clothing worn by men, that is not a pair of jeans/trousers/pants, yet worn around the waist (folded or not) is automatically labeled gay.
Thats blatant shortsighted bredren. That's almost the same as someone gripping their purse tight as soon as you walk pass them.

I envy him.
I hear Cape town is just beautiful. My homeboy moved there 5 years ago and every now and then posts pics of it on fb and i'm like :banderas:
These days i find that more and more americans are willing to venture out and live abroad.:obama: Something that was pretty rare 20 years ago. That criticism of americans not traveling the world is no longer valid. While traveling I have seen many living in places like the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Hungary, Haiti and Panama. A lot of them even go as far as to renounce their U.S. citizenships

Ignorant mofos always treat Egypt and South Africa as if they are not part of Africa just because they are the most developed and their populations include many non-blacks

THis I have to agree with but to note Mos Def is the more talented MC. It's just that dude seems to get either lazy or trying too hard to be different. BUt Kweli's body of work throughout the years cant be denied. If i need a hit song I'm going with Mos but overall I think Kweli's body of work has surpassed Mos Def's
