Thanks for the feedback breh. When I do these projects, I try to bring a new feel to the album that everybody's been listening to over the past 20 years. If I wanted the same feel, I'd just press play on the actual album.....I instead add things like remixes, loosies, OG samples, and my own blends to put a unique twist on it, and give the listener a different experience....

Nah, thats not what I meant. What I meant was keep the same song sequencing/track listing and then add your own remixes, loosies etc around that. For example, new world water was the 2nd song on this mixtape, whereas it comes comes around the end of the original album. Likewise with a few other joints. For people who are used to the original sequencing, it can throw them off a little and diminish the enjoyment abit. The stuff you added was really dope and I would honestly bump it over the original if the sequencing was kept the same. It would be like a beefed up version of BOBS. Just my 2 cents

Peace

Yeah I get you....that's a totally valid point. Another reason why you'll see a different sequencing on DJ mixtapes, is because we have to keep in mind the BPM (speed) of the tracks so that we can mix them together.....so you'll typically find me putting the faster tracks at the beginning of the mix, then choosing tracks that slowly bring down the BPM as the mix goes on...

Props on the explanation breh. As a person who doesn't DJ but loves the art, that makes a lot sense!

Would love to see you continue this series with other classics
