MKX has everything that would make a fighting game appeal to me
Speed: I love fast fighting games. High speed, high damage, fast matches. These games tend to have the best neutral because nikkas play like they're at gunpoint when they know they can't make 20 mistakes in a match *cough* Dragonball Fighterz
Variety:variation system is
Multiple distinct ways to play your character, multiple matchups to face making the overall game interesting. MKX is full of bullshyt that still hasn't been completely fleshed outCombo flexibility: MKX allowed a lot of combo creativity. I know a lot of y'all don't like long combos but for anybody that likes creating combos MKX was fun as fukk. MK1 appears to be bringing some of that feeling back
