kevin smith is a huge huge prince and the time fan. he has 100 plus hours of footage of prince in the 90's..was going to be some documentary style film..shyt got cancelled.

Regarding Murphy he played a well respected Doctor in Dr Doolittle, a college professor and researcher in the nutty professor, a decorated police detecive in the beverly hills cop series and yhe prince of a wealthy african nation in coming to america. While all these roles had aspects of sillyness played up for laughs the characters themselves were all very intelligent and good at their jobs.
I didn't know this, my ex was a Kevin Smith fan.
