A lot of blacks don't like to address this situation, I've brought it up several times. Fix the issue and we can make great strides.

Ain't shyt dudes getting ain't shyt women pregnant, which spawns these shooters. Sooner we address the family structure in the black community, the better. You don't even have to get married, just stay in the kid's lives to teach them right and wrong.

What happens when u get to the 4th or 5th generation of children who parents are not giving a shyt. You can’t fix that fam. That’s generations of ignorance being passed down. That’s like starting out on 1st&50 or some shyt.

The black family culture is shyt. I don’t even see a way u can fix it. You got hoes having baby showers with no fathers and shyt. Our culture is shyt, plain and simple, we need a whole culture shift. You even got people growing up in good homes trying to be thugs and shyt and ruining their lives for the some sort of clout.

The good things are that progress are being made on some fronts but we as a people inevitably going to have a lot of people left behind more worse off than their ain’t shyt parents. Some black children are going to rise higher than there parents ever could and some black kids are going to fall lower than their parents.

As a man you just got to do your part and make sure you and yours good no matter the circumstances.

I feel the exact opposite. I spent most of my years in Philly. There are hoods in every corner of the city, but the extreme violence(shootings) pretty much stays confined to THOSE neighborhoods.

In Charlotte, there are no defined “hoods” anymore. Violent crime happens everywhere here except maybe South Park and Ballantyne areas. Aside from that extreme South/Southwest section, the rest of the city is pretty much a toss up as to your likelihood of becoming a victim of violence. That’s what makes me feel a little more unsafe here than I’ve ever felt walking through West Philadelphia.

Just last week nikkas was fighting and a dude was shot and killed right near UNC in one of the University affiliated apartment complexes. UNC-Charlotte. That’s University City area or whatever.

That’s not normal.

Nah man I pretty much agree with everything you’re saying.. I work in the Charlotte media so I see a lot of these crime scenes in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. I know it’s bad as far as crime goes. I also walk around uptown just to take in what’s going on when I’m off on the weekends and I never feel uneasy or anything. We had a hundred or more murders in 2016 and the numbers were going down until this year,.. I know crime happens here and it’s really getting bad right now. I’m just wondering what he solution is.. I’ve been to so many vigils for people that were murdered here man that I’ve lost count, I still think crime is really bad depending on what side of town you’re in.. Yes shyt happens in uptown as well but stupid ass shooting like thee last two typical don’t happen in Uptown or in the heart of Southend and shyt. People are killing Putney on this latest police shooting and then these last two happened.. I don’t know what need to happen but something has to happen. Again, I was just saying Charlotte is ok to hang out in... I wasn’t saying the crime was not bad.. I KNOW shyt is bad right now.

#BREAKING MOTHER OF TWO MURDERED, TWO MEN ARRESTED

27-year-old Kendal Crank (Left) died on March 28, 2019 during a violent shootout between two men in Charlotte, NC. Kendal has a loving daughter and son that will never see her again.

Tychicus Dobie, 22, (Middle) and Adonis Smith, 17, (Right) have now been charged in Kendal's murder.

If you have kids hug them right now, kiss them and tell them that you love them, don't wait to do it.

On the day of Kendal's murder Tychicus and Adonis got into a shootout on East 28th Street. Kendal was driving her vehicle with her kids inside when she was inadvertently hit by crossfire during the shootout.

Kendal was not a intended target. Upon being hit Kendal then crashed the vehicle and was pronounced deceased. Kendal's kids were on scene during the incident.

Multiple 911 calls were placed for the same location stating that Kendal was shot dead.

There is no word on if Kendal's kids were injured.

The suspects in this offense fled prior to police arrival.

At 5:40 p.m., a male victim walked into CMC-Main Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his arm. He was likely struck by gunfire during the incident.

Tychicus and Adonis are both charged with murder and shooting into a vehicle.

A minimum of 5 people affected.
