Kendal Crank, 27, (Seen here) is Charlotte's latest murder victim. Kendal got caught in the midst of a violent shootout between several men.

Kendal had a young son that will miss her dearly.

On Thursday, March 28, 2019 Kendal was shot in a vehicle on 28th Street, which is near North Tryon Street. Kendal was located dead inside her vehicle.

The vehicle Kendal was driving had wrecked on 28th street. Kendal was pronounced deceased on scene by Medic.

The initial investigation has revealed that Kendal was traveling in her vehicle when several males were shooting at each other near the intersection at the time.

It appears that the Kendal was not the intended target. At 5:40 p.m., a male victim walked into CMC-Main Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his arm. He was likely struck by gunfire during the incident.

#BREAKING MOTHER OF TWO MURDERED, TWO MEN ARRESTED

27-year-old Kendal Crank (Left) died on March 28, 2019 during a violent shootout between two men in Charlotte, NC. Kendal has a loving daughter and son that will never see her again.

Tychicus Dobie, 22, (Middle) and Adonis Smith, 17, (Right) have now been charged in Kendal's murder.

On the day of Kendal's murder Tychicus and Adonis got into a shootout on East 28th Street. Kendal was driving her vehicle with her kids inside when she was inadvertently hit by crossfire during the shootout.

Kendal was not a intended target. Upon being hit Kendal then crashed the vehicle and was pronounced deceased. Kendal's kids were on scene during the incident.

Multiple 911 calls were placed for the same location stating that Kendal was shot dead.

There is no word on if Kendal's kids were injured.

The suspects in this offense fled prior to police arrival.

It’s sad man. And everyone is saying the same thing, it could’ve been either one of us. The majority of Charlotte residents hit N Tryon or cross over it at least one time throughout the day. Just completely senseless. Letting off rounds outside during rush hour traffic? I wouldn’t care WHAT happened to these little degenerates. And I agree, I’m sick of this double edged sword being wielded against us.

That is a HEAVY traffic area smh. It literally could’ve been anybody that got hit. All I’ve been thinking about since that shyt happened is accident murderers. It’s been way too many accident murderers doing their thing here

It’s really not that bad. Crime happens everywhere.. Somethings got to happen to stop this senseless violence though.

I can’t stop thinking about her kids. Just so heartbreaking thinking about them having been robbed of their mother like that. You only get ONE mother. It’s so unfair. The little girl is going to be tormented for the rest of her life because she’s older and has more understanding of what happened. The little boy will be tormented by this for the rest of his life because he’ll never know his mother. In a sense, he’ll never truly know his sister in all her true innocence, either, because this will surely change her for the rest of her life. It’s very very tragic. There is no amount of mercy deserving of those two pieces of shyt that did this.
