As Gold as It Gets | Golden State Warriors

The theoretical possibilities of how Durant might improve what was already one of the most dynamic offenses in NBA history are certainly tantalizing. For starters, he’s incredibly efficient. He ranks third among active players in career true shooting percentage, a measure of a player's shooting efficiency that factors in two-point and three-point field goal attempts, as well as free throws. Right above him on that list? You guessed it, Stephen Curry. Speaking of the new teammates, Curry led the entire NBA last season with a Player Efficiency Rating (PER) of 31.56; the league average is 15.00. Durant ranked second in the NBA with a PER of 28.25.

In some ways, his arrival further embellishes an advantage the Warriors already possessed – that being, their proficiency from long distance. Curry and Thompson finished first and second in the league last season with 402 and 276 three-pointers, respectively – the first and third-highest single-season totals in NBA history. Durant, while not quite at that same gaudy level, wasn’t that far behind with 186 treys, good for 11th-most in the league.

From the Warriors FB Page:

Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry & Klay Thompson combined for 864 treys last season ☔
That's more than 25 other TEAMS....

So over at WarriorsWorld, one of the guys suggested we look at undrafted rookie Prince Ibeh as an option to back up the center spot. He's 6'11 with a 7'5 1/2 wingspan (9'4.5" reach). He played for the Bucks summer league squad and had 7 boards & 7 blocks in 3 games (29 minutes total playing time)...

Here's his DraftExpress video:

I'm intrigued......he's got some flaws, but could be a decent rookie to work with...

Anyone got some additional info on him? Thoughts?

I never heard of him so I can't speak on it. I think we should sign Javale McGee or Jarvis Varnado. Those are the best 2 shot blockers on the market. Varnado is a shot blocking beast.
