I thought 3gb of the total 8gb of RAM was reserved for OS stuff. There's a vid posted in the XBOX thread showing off snap feature in real time while playing KI. No crash.

i'm not saying it cant be done. but i'm saying. i would not really want to mess with that. just knowing simple computer tech. with a PC i wouldnt do it playing a serious game taking up serious resources. if you do, you run the risk of it glitching out. at minimum you start to lose fidelity. i know some people have their reasons for doing it. but i just dont see using that feature MID game a lot. so them saying it crashes doesnt mean much to me. i would think something like that could crash any system. that isnt designed where games are running on processor A(not virtual process A, but real one) and the other rap on processor B. more or less running to computers at once in one box.

This why the the X1 has 3 Os's on it. One is the win system OS, one is the game OS and small VM OS. The system OS has the 3 GB and games OS has 5GB They don't interfere with each other that why you can snap in and out and not cause issues.

Sooner or later your going to hear form the Sony Fans b b b but I have a tablet or a phone. I counter we used to have standalone gps, mp3 players, pda's etc but technology condensed them all to run on a run of the mill smart phone. As tech get better things condense and makes it easier to use.
