As far as the Mordecai character, he was dead on arrival with that stupid looking ring attire. He looked like a big ass baby and not the least bit intimidating. The Kevin Thorne vampire gimmick was way better, but they were never really serious about pushing him nor the WWECW brand. Plus towards the end of his tenure, they gradually started taking everything away that made him interesting:
