There is no other person outside WWE that would be perfect for WWE. One person that I would put the most confidence in being able to maintain his top card position from Impact.
That's Moose, but nothing is for certain up there, and if Impact gave him a big money deal, to go along with a pretty secure top spot, can't be mad he didn't move.

I could see him working as a upper card guy for sure. Feuds with Drew, Lashley, would definitely work. They need big guys that can actually work. He is okay on the mic, def better than Lashley. Has a presence and can pull out some high flying for PPV moments.
The thing with big guys though is it's not a good look if you aren't upper card or being groomed to get there. Would trade Omos for him in a heartbeat. If Omos don't improve enough in a year's time he will be let go most likely.
Yes I think he is good enough to be upper card in the E, yes I think E would like him for that role and try to make it work. But loyalty and money speaks, he chose the safe path.
if he making what he would make in impact or close enough then,,, i see staying, especially with the possibility of japan opening up again someday.
Moose has actually become really good in the last 5-7years, i'd argue he was always good enough right off his first ROH contract though. it's almost like you cant each high level athletes who want to learn to do this shyt easier than most.
(because let's be real going to WWE doesn't automatically mean $$$$$$$$$$$$$$profit for all)
so i don't blame him. i really hope it's not because you know how is waiting in the wings to cancel him though. if it is fukk that, take the leap. we'lll handle that chirpy lil 50k in ppp loans boy.

plus if the wwe scaled moose down or back in workrate and moveset. moose would get exposed.
as having a low workrate and probably get deavored. moose at this point in his development being scaled back via the wwe condensed workrate style would be a deathknell for him. As his high spot that keeps people interested.
such as the super sitout powerbomb amalgated modified falcon arrow would be no more.

if anything he's upped his WWE stock in my opinion. every year Moose looks bigger and better and while its been a slow process i do think he's about ready for WWE.
