Months later, I can't believe the Browns traded up for Richardson

If Weeden works out at QB it will make the Richardson pick look that much better in hindsight. Because the Browns can say they got their QB and RB of the future in the same draft. Me personally i think Trent is going to be a 1500 yard 15-20 touchdown beast in his best years. And back in the day that got u top ten pick status without a doubt. Now that teams go to the two back system running backs gets undervalued. But i still think if u draft one top 5-10 who is there for 8-10 years constantly producing then u did ok.

The Browns also have a good, young offensive line with Pro Bowlers Joe Thomas and Alex Mack and they used a second round pick on right tackle Grant Schwartz. If Weeden can provide any sort of passing attack, I think Richardson will be able to put up big numbers.

The Browns fukked up by not trading up with the rams to get RG3

But then they turn around and trade up to get a RB :snoop:

Typical browns

Even after the skins jumped in front of y'all for RG3 y'all should've took Barron or Claiborne or traded down and got a pass rusher

Let's be honest, if you get a starting runningback out of the pick then the pick was ultimately worth it. The bigger risk for the Browns was drafting Brandon Weeden. I mean think about it, this QB is older than Alex Smith who has been in the NFL for 7 years. This guy will be 29 this coming season and has virtually no fukking upside. Now camp reports say, he is clearly a polished pocket passer and might be pretty good out the gate, but every bump and bruise, missed pass or injury leaves him very little room for error. If he sucks his 1st 3 years, the Browns will whore him out for a 7th rounder. Richardson on paper was a gamebreaking running back and under the right coaching, I think he will be at worst, a good running back, if not elite.
