Pac, Redman, Treach, Ice Cube cleaning up the streets:banderas:

Pac, in my opinion, was talking organizing drugs. He probably understood people gone use regardless, but the violence can be kept to a minimal

That chicago gang story :snoop: dont listen to music just skim through it

So Pac was talking to Al Sharpton about doing some shyt?

No wonder that fed surveilence picked up:sas2:

I don't condone recording phone convos witout people knowing:comeon:...But this is great:banderas:...This shyt really gets you in the mind of Pac and you know theres no performance or extra shyt involved whatsoever, just rawness and vulnerability. i hope rappers hear this and it spark they minds to do more,as you can hear it don't take Jayz,Puff or Dre writing 10 million dollar check all the time like nikkas ask for to make a difference....maybe hiphop fans will hear it too and start takin rappers to task,or rappers will start calling each other out to do more....if Pac was confronting gangbangers,no reason if you are socially aware and have a voice and power to confront your RAP peers not using their power properly, you shouldn't do so,if you really believe in it....fans as well,if we can confront them on twitter for getting beat up and robbed why not sumthing meaningful.

That shyt he said about the movement being first in his mind instead of the gangbanging really hit me. That inner conflict was real, understanding that even with all the love black folks gave em you still cant trust every nikka or think they on what you on. And i always said that shyt with the rape was a set up,thought that was obvious, still think they mighta set up Tyson too matter of fact.

Loved that he touched on voting too for people who don't believe in voting process which is a laaaarge portion of the black community....and i get why we are like that....but the main reason it don't work for us is because we are not organized in doing it...voting democrat everytime when you do decide to show up is not strategic at all...and not being a force that can be relied on to show up and change the process at all definitely aint strategic:mjlol:

i love pac and the things he stood for but if he thought he was gonna come through hood and start giving nikkas curfews he would've got a whole lot of :rudy:

don't hurt to ask:pachaha:.....wouldn't have been for free though, but when you look at all the street nikkas who either want to go legit or just want the fame of the hiphop lifestyle i think there would be ways to exchange favors and at least keep it out of the streets.:manny:

If you ever wondered how AIDS still remains such a lethal disease you don't need to look any further then planet earth to figure it out.

AIDS is so effective because it makes the cells that are supposed to fight off the disease fight each other. Sound familiar?

We are the gods of this planet but yet we don't fight to save it. Pac was fighting to save his people and guess who killed him? His people.

The people that are supposed to be saving this planet are fighting against it and don't even realize it. Everyone is so concerned about making a dollar but so few are concerned about what they do to make it. Think about it, if Lomin corporation offered most anybody on this website a job paying 250 grand a year to promote their diamonds in the black community most of you would immediately accept the position. In fact, most of you would pay them to do the job if their diamonds were in a nice ring. Here's the problem, Lomin is one of the biggest precious metal mining companies in the world and is responsible for a large portion of the damage done to the planet on a daily basis. But most of you wouldn't care, you'd only care about when you would start.

That's what makes people like Pac so special. We finally had an antibody for this disease strong enough to heal the people necessary to fight it and what do we do? Kill it.

It's sad man, we really need to get it together.

Can´t find a scan of the article but it´s typed up here: StreetGangs.Com forum on Gangs in the United States • View topic - 2pac in drama in Milwaukee in 1994

Indeed. Live to tell. :banderas:

Damn Pac challenged all them Chicago gangbangers to do sumthin lol
On September 3, 1994 at the Mecca Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a concert took place that included BOSS, Big Mike, Xscape, Spice 1 and more, incluing the headline act, 2Pac.

What Happened Was Chilling

After all the acts had done their thing, which included an appearance of McEiht with Spice 1, which really got the crowd pumped, it was time for 2Pac and the crowd was ready--or were they? To the roar of "2PAC" and "THUG LIFE," he hit the stage with vengeance, opening with a track called "Bury Me a G" from the new Thug Life album. But he seemed like a man out of control. Midway through the song, his mic started fading in and out. And while Thug Life were doing their verses, 2Pac was running around trying to get his mic to work. Finally, he got a working mice and all hell broke loose in Milwaukee. Half way through the second song, 2Pac stopped the show for a "moment of silence" for the 14-year-old girl killed in Chicago by an 11-year-old boy (who was later killed himself.) but before the "silence" began 2Pac yelled out: "You better stop killing those babies or else I'll murder you myself!"

He Was Out of Control

I sat with my camera in hand wondering, "Where did that come from? But I didn't have time to think about it for long. 2Pac was now yelling: "I taught you all about harming those babies. Keep it up murder all youmother******s." With that I started looking around the arena to see if anyone else was as shocked as I was. They were. Then I started thinking that it must be a skit or something in the act. But then I looked in his eyes. I was very close to the stage and I realized that this wasn't a skit. 2Pac was serious. Before he could get to his next song, the audience started throwing coins at 2Pac, and he wasn't gonna take that. No way. "I don't know who the f**k you all think I am. You mother******s better stop throwing shyt at me!" He then offered a 200 dollar reward for anyone to bring an offender to him on stage and siad: "He will get your paid, but he will die tonight."

A Violent Reaction

Again, I was shocked! Where was all this coming from? Did a coin tossing incident cause this violent reaction? But what come next was even worse. People in the audience started throwing up gang signs at 2Pac and taunting him. That did it. "You can flash them gang signs if you want," screamed 2Pac, "but I'll kill all you mother******s! This is Thug Life!" Then he invited people to come on stage and try to "Kick my ass!"

Things Were Out of Control!

Thug Life rushed on stage to be with 2Pac and I started thinking that this looked like a scene from West Side Story and when I thought it couldn't get worse, it did. A shouting match occurred with a guy in the pit (great, just where I am). A member of Thug Life and this guy just kept at it. Suddenly the guy threw a cassette on stage and then a water bottle was hurdled at him, missed and hit someone else in the audience. 2Pac grabbed the mic stand like a sword and started daring people to come at him. Chaos was erupting all around me and then it happened. A member of thug life pulled a gun. The photographer next to me said, "Let's get out of here." And he didn't have to tell me twice! As I gathered my gear I kept glancing at the gun that was being held at his side. 2Pac announced he would continue his show for the "real G's," but people now were beginning to run. Some for the exit, others, who were gangbangers, to the stage to challenge 2Pac and Thug Life. I began to run as well and it wasn't toward the stage.

Gunfire

Shots were fired from the stage, but luckily noone was hit. Police started entering the arena and the Mecca security tried to guide the people out so they wouldn't get trampled. I was glad to be out of there safely, but I felt I had to find out what happened. Later I interviewed the Chief of Security, Sgt. Delroy Roberts, who told me that the police had to kick in 2Pac's dressing room door. The made everyone kneel with their hands begind their heads as they searched the dressing rooms. The found two semi-automatic weapons. No one admitted to knowing about the guns.

Had He Snapped?

As I was leaving, people who had been in the audience were saying, "What was wrong with him?" "Has He snapped?" "We all could have been killed!" And we could have! I was shocked and saddened. Why did this happen? I had just witnessed another chapter in the troubled life of Tupac Amaru Shakur.

But Where Will This End?

That was the end of the story I wrote when I reported this incident. Now we know the answer to my final question. It ended badly and sadly. Personally, I liked 2Pac. Having met him once in Chicago, I found him to be very pleasant and cooperative as I took photos and interviewed him. I sincerely liked the guy. So I wanted to hear his side of what took place in Milwaukee. But a call to his manager's office informed me that the office was no longer representing Mr. Shakur. And that was the last time I had contact with the late Mr. Shakur.

Lol that was the first thought that crossed my mind too lol, how much was Al REALLY helping them? Lol. Heard a lot of shyt about Jesse from some reputable sources too. Yeah I hope it does too..

Yeah, I think what what he was saying was initially he had the movement mentality where everyone is brothers or sisters, but in reality you have to be careful cause of the streets, you'll be slippin if you SOLELY have that mentality without the proper balance between them. You can't think everyone is your brother or sister cause some are enemies, and that's how you get killed or infiltrated or set up.

Monster sounding more to have that, and the dangers in mind first, and he came from streets to positive, Pac was the other way round in a sense while still trying to keep positive. If people listen to what Pac said would see it could work, he weren't trying to come at them with confrontation or beef, but with a plea with respect, most would have allowed him to chill without issues. The others who were doing foul shyt was a different situation. There's more normal people than there are gangbangers so if the power is used effectively differences can be made, economic and having a grip on the streets too,. At the least not being extra vulnerable (more than what's unavoidable)

Good point about the organisation, it just pushes the politicians more. Similar shyt that Malcolm was on.
