I should definitely utilize that stuff a lot more myself. The one time I ever used a bomb barrel I just set it next to a sleeping monster, smacked them once then they blew it up and killed themselves on wakeup

Yeah, that’s the kind of stuff you can play around with more when you link up with people since you don’t got things like these arakajuns aggressively attacking you every second.

Laying more traps and doing negative status effect, etc makes the game more dynamic

We played together last night right? I remember we absolutely fukked up those Ajarakans in the wounded hollow them mf’s was getting every wound stabbed and sawed expeditiously we were all up in their grill

Yea that was me and gizmo with you, maybe Flexington too, they're usually the ones im in a party with most the time. Flex uses the horn, and gizmo be on the hvy bowgun

Question for Monster Hunter heads - I've played a lot of JRPGs but never anything from the Monster Hunter series.

But I'm looking to get into something new. Would this be a good game to start with or should I go back to something earlier? Not sure if I'd be confused if I just started with this one.

This is the most beginner friendly one in terms how quality of life improvements and having a more streamlined single player experience. The story is just there lol. Its all about the gameplay loop and customization/buildcrafting

had to change a lot of controls
the shield actually blocks damn near everything
found out you could cheese shield+O on SnS for a stupid long perfect block window

im not even worried about health or stamina. i gotta sharpen too much even in high rank my hunts short as fukk

Yea the game is easy AF with shield, no matter HBG,SnS,Gunlance,Lance. I will literally have to learn a different play style when I start messing with another weapon.

With that being said though, I finally got my build on lance finished, missing two level 3 decos, but whatever. Time to go mess with another weapon.
