To the forest. When a baby monkey dies the mother often times steal another baby. Their are reports of babies being killed because their being dragged by monkeys.

The monkey is actually part of a travelling show. And it didn't drag the girl, the owner pulled the chain on the monkey to pull it away from the girl but inadvertently dragged the girl as well.
