I understand Mo’Nique point of views, and rightfully so.
I understand why majority of blacks are not willing to “give up” Netflix, also.
What I do not understand, where is the solidarity? Why aren’t black women supporting her like they save everyone else? I’m starting to realize that in order for “the message” to reach the masses, you have to have a certain “image” to get it across. I’ve read so many comments online saying they not supporting her, and definitely not giving up Netflix..even without looking into the “issues”. Are we that shallow?

I don't like Monique. (Actually I don't like a lot of blk comedians but that's neither here nor there). Edit: I thought some of the random comedians on ole school Comicview were funnier than a lot of what's out there now.

I DO believe white Hollywood does not pay blk actors and actresses nearly as much as they should b/c really our culture is the driving force behind a disproportionate chunk of American entertainment. Our music provide the soundtrack for the world. Our talent is fathomless.

So this does need to be brought to life. But rejects can't lead the revolution. This type of thing is exactly what I be telling ya'll about. Rejects, losers, opportunists, can't be the ones holding the flag b/c they got too many confounding life variables that compete with the truth of their message.
A pink turtle with red hair can say 1+1=2 and be absolutely right. But that turtle's truth is obscured by its oddness.

Similarly community rejects can't hijack black issues and use them for their own interests. Some pseudo autistic loser rejects can't say OMG toxic femininity is the reason why my dikk is dry.
Some weird ass lame chick with drawn on eyebrows walking around looking crazy can't claim an issue with toxic blk dudes as for why she repels anything with a dikk.

Nobody is going to be perfect obviously but if u know you got a lotta messy shyt going on, a rape charge from a white bytch, a nasty attitude that has made blk Hollywood shut its door on you, some weird ass loser tendencies---then pipe down on using flying the banner of "Issues in the Black Community" and using it to make excuses for ur own personal failures.

Because when u do so, u delegitimize real issues that DO need to be address and have people tossing them out b/c ur bunk ass is tied to it and can be used as an example of why these issues are trivial when ACTUALLY, they are real.

Personally I think Monique would do better in the talk show lane or life coaching lane. I could see her pulling an Iyanla move. I can almost hear her "Now you KNOW that ain't right!"
