He's veen good at drafting talent. Not just obvious players who gonna play right away.

Drafting Sadiq Bey and Isaiah Stewart were great picks cuz they can play meaningful minutes in the NBA.

Now where has failed at is managing cap, forward thinking with roster construction and holding on too long to veteran pieces when they trade value is high

Weaver can identify talent. He just can’t construct a team. Killian has been his only busted draft pick. Cap is cleanest in all NBA. His other biggest problem was he’s been too patient. Thought they had another year to bullshyt around without much backlash. Rockets has right idea overpaying for those vets
