Dog, you seriously gotta be able to adjust your opinion beyond what you initially latch on to. He been terrible for years and you still wanna argue with folks about this bum ass nikka. I'm capable of adjusting my opinion as new evidence presents itself. But he ain't done shyt but show consistent bum tendencies. If it look like a bum and shoot like a bum, guess what....

Hey I can say you're blinded in the same vein as you refuse to look at any other intangibles, the lineups don't lie :manny: , on top of that Breh was in double figures tonight, remove a few unnecessary 3's which I thought were bad shots and he's at 50%. Cut the team turnovers down and they walk out with a W.

My only real sort of Debbie Downer observation: I'm not convinced Ivey is gonna have a spot on this team. As in being a real fit.
The bench thing seems to have him really flustered, unless it's something else. He needs to calm down and figure out when to attack. He been erratic as hell since summer league.

He was forcing tonight, not passing the rock, and when he did he shouldn't have/turned it over. He'll have to find a groove to get into like he was starting to do last year.

Naw, new been consistently ass the last 3 seasons, and that's been the consensus. He wasn't extended for a reason. I'm not blind to ball. He knocked down a few shots after I made the post. But perhaps if he was more effective in the first half of the game there would have been better results and not as much of a struggle battling back. As always I'm willing to adjust my opinion based on the evidence presented. I don't operate off personal agendas. If he start hooping I'll give him credit, as I've done in those very, very small windows where he's done it before. I'll see how he does as the season progresses. So far he still a bum :yeshrug:

Fair enough, even though I believe the 3 ball is his only inconsistent feature at this time compared to previous complaints. Those attempts should be limited/ switched to more opportunities topkey/midrange down where he has proven to be highly effective. I see your view in regards to him being a spot up guy though.

*edit and he was offered an extension but not the deal he wanted, I disagree with his team rejecting the deal but I understand as well.

Putting him on the bench was the wrong move. He gonna feel like he need to take a shot every time down the court now

Scoring in any capacity from anywhere on the floor has been his inconsistent feature. He isn't consistently at the bottom of the league for efg% just because he's not hitting threes. I do recognize his hustle on d and he has solid vision. He just can't break a man down and get in the paint for shyt. If he can knock down that middy a bit more effectively like he did today and during the preseason and not play scared he can perhaps keep a rotation spot when Morris comes back. And them 3's gotta start looking like actual shots at least, and not just like knuckleballs he throws at the general vicinity of the rim :francis:

Sasser need to be getting those Killian minutes. Ivey on bench for Killian just doesn’t make sense. You can hide Ivey defensively with Cade Ausar Stew and Duran out there. Hayes defense isn’t high level like that. Ivey pressing and confused on role

Good game from bigs. Stew, Duran, Bagley all had good games

The way they were playing d in that first quarter, and the way he wasn't all game, I can understand why Monty made the move. And if he's more effective with the ball in his hands then him leading the second unit with offensive punch and the ability to find guys kinda makes sense.

But Cade needs another offensive threat with him on the court too. I guess that's Bogey when he comes back, but until then it's gonna look rough when they trap Cade and get the ball out his hands. That's where Ivey is supposed to help. It just shows how this team is just very flawed and young right now. The starting lineup is Cade and 4 guys that can't comfortably find their own offense for at least the next month.
