"WrestleMania Backlash" has to be one of the worst and most short sighted ideas in the entire history of WWE ....
yea ... let's cheapen the history and the brand name of WrestleMania by tagging its name onto one of the B-level PPV's .... say what you will about WWE, but at the end of the day WrestleMania is the pro-wrestling industries Super Bowl. it has cross over appeal and most of the population knows what it is....
it simply cannot be stressed enough just how STUPID and damaging it is for them to attach it to fukkin Backlash lol ...
then again, they also sold out to NBC with the Peacock deal for only about $20 million more per year than they were already making with the WWE Network ... which showed their hand. they had zero confidence that they could grow the Network further so they took the immediate cash deal. WWE will be owned by NBC within the next five years and before you know it we'll be getting weekly episodes of "WWE Monday Night Raw WrestleMania Edition!"
