Its not just WCW I feel the same way about the "evil authority" angle; it was amazing 22 years ago and then they ran it in to the ground

I would be fine if I never saw an invasion angle again and especially ecstatic if I never see an evil authority figure angle. Just give me a Jack Tunney type character who shows up to make official pronouncements and thats it.

So far my favorite thing about Underground has been dudes not showing up in lycra to wrestle.
Honestly, seeing folks in their gear in Underground is jarring. The IIconics being there seemed like a weird crossover from a whole different show.

Proving that people can go fight without wearing bright colored spandex is doing what it does every other time an industry shows that their activity can be done in normal clothes: it ruins any logic as to why people would wear gear at all.
