I like it. It's important to the whole. No season 2, and nothing else in the series makes sense when you step back and look at the whole picture

Exactly, I remember reading the debate thread in The Film Room and it had me like at how much people didn't understand the purpose of that season

if i'm booking the World Cup tourney i'm booking it like this

Angle/ZIggler......Corbin interferes and costs Angle the match leading to Angle/Corbin for control of Raw at Survivor Series

Rollins/Lashley....Rollins wins clean and gets beatdown by Lashley after the match to get heat on Lashley and Rollins more face sympathy

Rollins overcomes the odds and beats Ziggler even though he wasn't 100% for the match

Rey wins the SD side, outcomes of those matches don't really matter

Rey vs Rollins in the finals, Amrbose interferes ad costs Rollins the match after a 20 min match, powerbombs him through the announce table

storylines get furthered and we get dope matches it ain't hard to do
