I have a terrible theory. Maybe WWE is pissed off with north east crowds and puts on terrible shows to fukk with them, knowing they'll come back. I remember one year a rumble was so bad people left early... to go straight to buy tickets for the next WWE show

I think they just don't care to give away good storylines unless it's to build WrestleMania or SummerSlam, while the Rumble, SS, and MITB basically book themselves.
