As long as he has that Lumbar Check, he has a chance. Kid can go in the ring and is armed with perhaps the most devastating looking finish -- kayfabe-wise -- in the WWE today.

They completely burned the whole cruiserweight division by making it seem "less than" and a step down. The way they've done it, someone like Finn or Pete Dunn is going to be seen as taking a step back career wise, and someone like Kenta/Hideo is seen as being thrown in the bushes by landing there. It's a shame because there's talent in that division and it could add value but they have done such a poor job of marketing and branding and pushing it no one cares.
