I don't know if I'd go that far. There were some positives.
The Eagles might have finally figured out a run game for the season. I was skeptical about Josh Adams coming out of the Giants game, their Front 7 isn't that good, but the Redskins have a good run defense and Adams, Clement, and Sproles put up 130 yards on them. The offense was able to move the ball up and down the field. Golden Tate
finally got going. Lane Johnson was able to lock down Ryan Kerrigan (didn't hear his name all night) and even Jason Peters was playing well, until he got hurt at the end of the game (hopefully that's not serious). Carson didn't have his best performance, but he still got over 300 yards and completed 69% of his passes. There's stuff to build on here if the Eagles could just stay consistent.
If there's any two things that worry me, it's (1) the Eagles defense, which is still ridiculously banged up in the secondary and has to face Amari Cooper and Cole Beasely (along with Zeke Elliot), and (2) the redzone issues continue. The Eagles should have had two more touchdowns than they did. Dallas has a great defense and Dak, while he's not that good a QB, is much better than a Mark Sanchez who came off the street to replace an injured Colt McCoy - especially if everything else is going well. The Eagles aren't going to beat out the Vikings for a wildcard, so it's a must-win game next week if they plan on making the post-season.
