I actually find that there's not as much overlap between anime fans and JPRG fans as you would think. Mostly because of the universal western lack of patience.

The install base of the systems. More are sold in western regions than Japan. This game seems on par with The Caligula Effect. I'll probably try it as I just finished Caligula 2 and it was decent.
