There's no training that will prevent this. They need to do thorough background checks and psychological testing before they hire. They also need to do them for every officer on the force. They won't though.
They won't as if they actually brought in forced standards for the police force, they'd have to fire so many people who should not be there because they're either unfit for active duty or psychotic. But they like hiring easily pliable people. They don't want free thinkers on any police force in the US as they're dangerous. Hence why the cops who are actually decent keep their heads down.
See how easy most cops get wound up if you logically try to debate with them, they can't compute it. And go for the easy option. Violence and arrest.

y'all so called militants and black gangstas need to start forming black militias in y'alls cities and neighborhoods so when injustices such as this happen there's a presence of men right there on the scene to help mitigate such situations and demonstrate that the bullshyt won't be tolerated . every black person needs a black militia rep within a couple of miles on speed dial who can call reinforcements and show up... now if y'all bout that make it happen . start calling meetings. start organizing . this can't be tolerated . what if that was your momma? your wife? sister ? daughter ?

This is actually one of the more infuriating vids I've ever seen. Specifically how casually the officer outright dismissed everything the mother was saying and pretty much ENDORSED the abuse of a minor.
