I thought the idea was interesting, so I emailed Ken, in the beginning of March, gave him an intro into my background and my previous start-up investments. Asked him for a teaser or something to look at. He said he would have something by the end of the week and also tried to sell me on some cloud software that was undergoing a rebrand. Ten days later he sent me a pic of a bottle.
I followed up again in April asking for an update or something, said he would reach out to met at the end of the month.
I finally heard back from him in May, but I had lost interest by then so I didn't bother responding. It had been 2 months but I hadn't even seen a one pager, let alone a short pitchbook or some sort of deck. Harsh? Sure, but I need to see some thoughts down on paper before taking someone seriously and getting on a call with them, especially when I asked for it the first time.
