What did you think of disc 2?[DOUBLEPOST=1397554688][/DOUBLEPOST]
As crazy as the second disc is, just imagine if those two were on it. :ohlawd:
Well it was old material so it was straight. Their new material?

Just swap out both versions of "The Money" with "Keepin it Real" and "Patty Shop" and 2nd disc, and there's no denying the 2nd disc as GOAT status
The first version of the Money though :ohhh:That beat! :ooh:Killa Black snitching on himself :snoop:Mobb Deep implicating themselves in aiding and abetting a fugitive
All 7 minutes of that track are very necessary.[DOUBLEPOST=1397569765][/DOUBLEPOST]

A bunch of music that i own already. :manny: Rereleasing songs we've heard a million times isnt impressive.
A few of the songs hadn't previously been out there, is what I understood. You saying you had every song/skit?[DOUBLEPOST=1397613913][/DOUBLEPOST]Finally found the actual CD in Baltimore and copped :blessed:

Also - 3 hours in the car today - so I finally listened to disc one. Thought it was largely well produced. Didn't hear anything all that great from P on the mic. Hav was Hav. I'll definitely give it a few more listens and I doubt that I'm gonna end up thinking it was wack - bit id also bet it doesn't get a ton of play from me.

Disc 2 on the other hand :blessed:
So it's easily their fourth best album. The question is - is it better than Murda Muzik?????:ohhh:

OK guys, I actually bumped this bad boy for 2 weeks and let it sink in. I did enjoy the album but it was flawed. Some of the tracks lacked some of the vintage Mobb energy. Maybe the Drama between Hav and P might have hurt the recording but that didn't hurt the experience. The two tracks that really stood out to me was "Timeless" and "All A Dream". It's hard to believe Mobb Deep and The Lox never did a track. The closet was the Havoc-produced Biggie track "Last Day". So not to my surprise. The Lox and Mobb Deep sound FANTASTIC together. I think they should consider some type of mixtape or EP. Of course you can't go wrong with a Biggie sample. Overall I give the new disc probably a 3.5. Liked it better than "Blood Money" and it's on par with "America's Nightmare". But honestly as excited as I was to listen to the new album, I was more excited to listen to "The Infamous Lost Sessions". I loved that disc, top to bottom, it's almost like a Mobb Deep Lost Tapes of sorts. That's all, nothing to breakdown. It just transported me back to the 90's so lovely. I hope this isn't the last Mobb album but if it is

:salute:

I thank both Hav and P for giving me 20 years of amazing rhymes, beats and tracks.

Where do you rank the second disc? It's easily the 4th best album to me. I'm gonna have to give it a lot of time to see how it compares to Murda Muzik.

Yeah. I'm probably way off base. Just really feeling that second disc. Nothing in the last decade has sounded remotely close to this. I did spend basically all of 99 bumping the leaks and then the retail version of MM. And it's only been 3 weeks with this second disc. Time will tell though.

I really like the new material but The Lox absolutely compliment that 'All a Dream' song perfectly and it annoys me that my CD doesn't have that feature.

Also, I'm the only one who gets amped from 'Legendary'? That beat is dope as hell on some triumphant shyt.

That "Ahhhhh Ahhhhhhh" be havin' a goon like :salute: :blessed:
