Lyrically he was better than several of those guys IMO, lyricism isn't just about rhyming. The shyt P was saying was just unheard of to me and his best verses can hang with any of those guys best verses.

the thing that seperated p from everyone else to me was that he would go in depth on a rhyme. he wasn't just telling you that he was going to slice your neck. he was telling you what he was going to use and how/when he was going to do it. he had a kool g rap esque story telling thing going on for him

Right. To me, P's imagery was just outlandish and damn near unrivaled. And he has some of the most memorable rap verses of all time.
