Don't really know what cats expected from the first disc. It's going to be hit or miss no matter who you are. There are people that don't mind newer era Mobb Deep, and I'd include myself in the camp. But I don't many, if any of us, listen to it as more than music hopefully got some decent production and a few dope lines here and there. I'm certainly not on the edge of my seat anymore, but I'm cool with that.

For that reason, I think it's very difficult to objectively rate their albums post Murda Muzik. Some people may prefer Amerikka's Nightmare, some might prefer Free Agents, or Infamy. Honestly I've seen their post MM albums arranged in every order imaginable. I assume the same will go for this album.

It's all equally impressive/unimpressive after 2000, so it's just what people's personal tastes are. So far I'm listening to the Infamous sessions, and haven't cracked into disc 1 that much. I might wait for the version with Snoop, LOX, etc.
The ony weak album to me after Murdah Muzik was the Blood Money and it had its moments too. All the songs with 50 are dope especially the tracks that were on mixtapes. The first disc to me after playing it a few more times is straight 10 crack. If you like the Mobb post 2000 then there is no reason why you shouldn't be feeling this. I will be adding this to the collection when it drops

I think it's dope man. Only a couple joints I don't like at all.

Timeless might be my favorite. I honestly didn't think I'd really enjoy it with basically no ALC and no Sid Roams. But this isn't that bad. !llmind sounds pretty good on here. The joint with the LOX reminds me of some old AZ shyt. All of Havoc's beats are fire. P sounds pretty energetic. I like it. I'm not sure where it'll sit among the post 2000 Mobb albums, but it's better than I was expecting.

I keep going back to Timeless. Beat Butcha really did his thing, and to me at least, it's very obvious that he's done a good amount of production on some recent Lloyd Banks tapes, like Cold Corner 2 and F.N.O.

When Timeless starts it feels like Banks is about to start rapping.
