Stay intoxicated never sober
Face it, violate and get laced while you wastin'
Slugs you ain't buckin' nothin'
You better off buckin' yourself you need to stop frontin'
I use to drive an Ac and kept a mac in the engine
Littles painted it black with crack sales intentions
To blow up the whole projects the Infamous
Our sons will grow up to be murderers and terrorists
It's the nikka in me accompanied by the Coniac
You can ask around don't fukk with the Mobb
I could of told you that where you been at?
You must of cut class
If it ain't me another member of my crew will kick your ass
(what what?) Who do damage to limbs
In '91 stompin' you out with black Tims
Prodigy and the H.A.V.O.C. from the Q.B.C.
Puttin' cowards where they're suppose to be
If I don't know your face then don't come close to me
I got too much beef for that
Drama in the 3rd degree
And to the kids you don't wanna be me
I'm up in the mix of action when nikkas wanna kill me
But it's the start of they endin' my man's lendin'
Me his linden 42 shots dependin'
On wheather or not the clip is full to the top
We bustin' caps non stop
Blazin' in all the shows and even at the hoes

:wow:top 3 album of all time wish I was going to BB Kings seen em live 3 times already never gets tiring
:wow:

:wow:
I think this was the first thing that we heard from the Mobb after Juvenile Hell came and went and Stretch and Bob ran with it.

For anyone who hasn't heard the entire demo

Props to Strech and Bob for recognizing greatness. To Matty C and the whole Source staff at the time too. Steve Rifkind must have been sniffing :lolbron:

I miss this sound in hip hop today...heavy chords, hard drum lines, jazz melodies...and nikkas spittin' raw shyt...:mjcry:

Thanks for this...good listen:salute:

Somewhere in Chicago
I look at The Infamous as a very macabre, borderline Gothic Hip-Hop album. It could be the organ like bass that comes in the distance in Survival of The Fittest , kinda like how you see lightning at night before a storm, or the horns that blare and hold your attention in QU Hectic. Prodigy and Hav guiding you along like ghost of Christmas past detailing the life that has been lost spiritually (drink away the pain) and physically...even with lighter songs like Up North Trip or Temperature's Rising, lyrically the outcome is gloom...you always have to be on your toes despite not actually being in 1990's Queensbridge...I find myself extremely glued to this album because I can't for the life of me sans Earl Sweatshirt's latest work (to an extent) think of an album this beautifully eerie.

I wouldn't even bring up stuff like Three Six Mafia, Necro, Esham, Hopsin etc. none of that stuff could touch this album with a 10 foot pole.

:mindblown: And they were only 19. That's insane.

Then this album came out and took that sound to the next level...

Mobb deep Nobody likes Me Violater Compilation

Fantastic song. One of my favorite post HOE mobb moments. P's verse(s) & that Hav beat encapsulate why Mobb at their best is as good as anything, ever.

"you ran, started feelin' numb in ya' hand"

who starts a verse like that? Probably Paraplegic P, that's who!

Arguably the best rap album ever made. Like you can say that and not at all sound crazy. Except to people from California who seem completely foreign to me.

It's easily the best East Coast rap album although HOE i listen to more.

Definitely one of the greatest albums but I'm still bummed there's no uncensored Shook Ones Pt.2 even though there's only a few moments that are censored.
