That's not what @FreshAIG was saying...but I'll let him speak for his fukking self...when you see him in the thread, at the show or on the streets...he definitely got the gat on him know what I'm saying? :prodigylol:

LOL I know. Just messing around. I actually completely understood @FreshAIG argument...and he wasn't even wrong. I was simply tryna point out how ridiculous it is that things are like that.

Quite possibly the greatest album of all time
The only album that can compete is the infamous
Those albums are god status
Then comes the next level
Illmatic, it was written, obfcl, doe or die
It's crazy how well these albums hold up :wow:
Had me in the car like

Now I'm numbed up
From a fiery cup
Of hell juice
It's sins nectar
Satans fountain of youth

Who writes shyt like that brehs :mindblown:

still remember getting the tape on release day as a kid, it was a big fukking deal at the time.
Me too Breh. Copped the tape on release date. :wow:
Thought it was just another Tuesday
Didn't know I'd end up playing the album every day for six months :wow:
No exaggeration.
Only @Art Barr got me beat :wow:
Played Diamond D's album every day for a decade or something crazy like that

To me this album is the first one where they really formed and solidified their MOBB sound/attitude!

The whole style they came up with on this album is my first association on their music/style! Havoc really took over the production while P went further on the Mic compared to The infamous, with both of them developing their own signature sound, what they will be celebrated for until eternity :blessed:

Beats / rhymes / topics / atmosphere ... on this album - This is the essence of the Mobb Deep. The infamous is an undisputable classic and probably more accepted by wider rap audience, but HOE defines them the best way till this day.

on HOE = The best perfromance of an rapper within a group on an album ever
Hav = setting a trend with that vinyl noise going in the back and the whole style he came up with on this album
GOD PT III Track = The first time that a sample from the Scarface movie was used

etc..

This album is a certified Classic, GOD status. I bump it more than The Infamous.

:blessed:

Take these words home and think it through :pdahellclean:
Or the next TV I throw might be aimed at you :prodigylol:

POW nikkas is found, MIA
We move like the Special Forces, Green Beret
Heavily around my throat, I don't play
shyt brand new, back in eighty-nine, the same way
The God P walk with a limp, see, but simply
The Semper Fi shyt, no man can go against me

I know most people think it's
To simplify shyt
But Semper Fi fits the theme better
He talking about pow's, special forces and shyt

What you think?
