Yes nikka routinely. Rather he was hitting Zeke out the backfield while Gallup was streaking with his hand up or throwing the ball to the cheerleaders instead, he was routinely beating his man on go's.

And it ain't about a rookie having 1,100 yard season -which they're doing at all time highs- it's about not being able to use our number 2 better

We could have Prime T.O and Moss out there and Dak will find a way to have them looking like Patrick Crayton.
I know u were talking about Gallup but this dikkhead QB :why:

The dikkhead qb gonna either shyt or get off the pot. Zeke should lowkey sit out a game or two this year as well. Let Dak show what he can do without Zeke for a second time. First go round was brutal. Zeke should do it for business reasons as well. :yeshrug: But if Dak and Pollard/Weber ball out :sadcam:

I'm becoming more cool with this draft.

If Hill turns out to be the DT we've been needing since Ratliff and New Connor turns into a stalwart at LG, can't be mad a year or two down the road.

Main frustration was that I felt this draft did very little for us for this upcoming year. It was a draft for 2020 and beyond. I'm in win now mode on last year of cheap Dak.

They better get this Pollard dude the ball in open space

When we drafted Zeke there was little thought of it being a "win-now" pick because our running game wasn't struggling .

Hills make much more sense this year for next than Zeke did at the time. DT was the glaring hole in our front 7 and hopefully Hill can come in and be that guy.

This team doesn't have many holes. If Dak turns the page and the playcalling is better I don't see why this team, as constructed, can't be a dominate force in the NFC. Just gotta limit Heath's snaps.

And another thing. I think Richards track records with DBs is, he doesn't care what round, what school, if you can play in his system then you're gonna get snaps.

Woods outright won his position last ear. I think if anyone proves that can beat out Heath in camp/preseason then we'll have another starter. If Heath is the starter week one then I think that'll speak volumes over the other S on the team

A lot of you are high on Woods.

He didn't make a ton of mistakes. But he also doesn't really do shyt in terms of influencing coverage sacks or making plays on the ball. He'll lay the wood on a guy, pause, but he'll never play the ball and generate TOs.

Heath is just garbage.

None of our CBs generate TOs or make plays on the ball, either. Chido to a small degree. Anthony Brown showed signs in 2016 but then became allergic to turning his head around.

It's just hard to win in this league without guys in the secondary who can generate turnovers. INTs matter. It's a passing league. Idgaf what your scheme is, it's a great benefit to have a ballhawk back there.

Pats teams always had Pro Bowl Safeties/CBs. Steelers had Troy. Ravens had Ed. Seattle goes without saying. Giants are low-key exception, but they had incredible pass rush both years. Even Saints and Eagles when they broke through had a ton of TOs generated, majority of them INTs.

That's the biggest weakness of this team to me. Defense almost never gets the ball back to offense with a short field. Add in that we have piss poor PR for years, and you're asking dikkhead Dak and Zeke to march 70 yards every time in 37 man boxes for scores to win you games.

shyts hard in January, b
Let's see what this pass rush looks like...

X was a ballhawk in college. They've been moving him around from slot CB to FS to SS his first few years. Last year was his first season truly getting to focus on one position, the single high safety. Richard gave him a vote of confidence this off-season when they said they see him as the "FS of the future," so hopefully the game slows down for him in his 2nd full season as the starting FS.

I agree with you that the takeaway production from the secondary has been :trash:. They only had 9 as a squad last season.

But that pass rush has been mediocre too. They haven't finished in the top 10 in sacks since Marinelli's been here. Last time they had a top 10 pass rushing unit was 2011. I think if the pass rush is on point this season, that'll lead to more INT's. Think that was the Front Office's logic with the Trysten Hill pick too.

Jones and Jackson have a lot of the same measurables so I assume Byron is the one guy they would trade... I think Jackson was a Richards pick and he won't give two fukks about starting him as a rookie...

I also think Jones is the hardest guy to keep...that guaranteed top corner money is only surpassed by QB and elite receiver money...
