"You draft big, strong guys and then you let the coaches bring the rest of it out. He's the physical prototype and he's going to get a lot better as a rusher. I love the upside." -- Personnel director with AFC team

Brehs in here still think it's reasonable to keep investing high picks in OL.

Cause Chaz Green, UDFA La'el Collins, and Connor Williams ain't enough.

This franchise is basically gonna spend a top 3 round pick on OL almost every year so they can play musical chairs with the 4th/5th OL spot. And our fans and media blindly support it.

What happens next year when La'el leaves for money, we kick Connor out to RT and this new Connor moves into LG? What happens when Garrett can't go to sleep at night without having "depth" on the OL?

Crazy OL from 2014-2016 got the front office gassed up. They put way too much emphasis on having 5 Pro Bowlers on the line.

Nobody invests these kind of resources into OL like we do. And we can't even make a conference title game. We run Zeke into 25 man boxes and the entire stadium telegraphs our obvious running downs. So how important is it really?

Team just drafts Marinelli guys or Garrett guys. Guarantee you if they knew DLaw was gonna turn into this Twitter fingers, Eli roasting, boisterous, Hotboyz swag chirping rusher, they wouldn't have drafted him. They would have taken another quiet soft beta like Taco or Marcus Spears.
Invest nonstop in OL to have the third best oline in the division brehs.

Give this huge investment to a rookie oline coach brehs.

Pro Comparison
NFL Comparison Danielle Hunter — Minnesota Vikings

Stylistically speaking, Jackson reminds me of a player who also wears No. 99 — DE Danielle Hunter. Both Jackson and Hunter are 4-3 defensive ends who bring some juice as pass rushers off the line of scrimmage. Neither player is as twitched up as their peers at the position, yet each manages to create pressure rushing the passer. Drafted in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft, Hunter has evolved into a stalwart of the Vikings’ defense.
