Drafting a player with questionable work ethic and production vs a high motor safety with ball skills, it wouldn't be a cowboys draft without a dumbass decision.

We just dump and dump draft capital into DL this decade with such little to show for it. And we completely neglect DB outside of Byron in 15 and 17 where we took solid Chido and garage Jourdan Lewis scUM.
Two secondary players in forever. Trash. Even Anthony Brown was a late rounder.

Yep. Having a great secondary is useless if you can't stop the run or get inside pressure. Cowboys have always struggled against teams that commit to running the ball down their throats. It's just that most teams aren't good enough to take advantage. When they are....you get the Rams game.
