Dude was just a bar fighter who got in the cage/octagon. What he did took NO skills and I don't consider him a martial artist. He was a freakshow/ brawler type fighter. I guess he was the first to do it in the cage, but he's no legend in my eyes.

I say so. I give dude props for knowing almost jack shyt and stepping in the cage against trained cats. His highlight reel knockouts were iconic in their day. A lot of the first fighters don't have the prettiest records today, because it was a different time in which fights were more brutal due to no rules, pretty much went until someone won and you fought several times a night in tournaments.

:salute: Agreed.
He is not the stereotypical martial artist..but he is a fighter. Some people come into MMA/Combat Sports because they just like to fight(Diaz bros), others to it for money(Mayweather), some do it for competition because they are athletes at heart (chad mendes,Frankie Edgar) and some do it because they are martial artist(GSP,AndersonSilva). But regardless of their reason they are still courageous for stepping in the cage.

You think that's out of the question? Wouldn't be the only time tito got his ass kicked by a fighter outside of the ring. Tito couldn't punch for years.
When it comes from Abbott yes it's out of the question. He's worse than a martial arts movie extra.

Winning fights in the dark ages of mma doesn't make you a legend ended with a losing record never won shyt famous for making an a$$hole of himself in wcw....its a hell no for me.. I'm borderline on Royce Gracie too because they hand picked his fights and fighters at the first ufc but it is what it is.
