Read somewhere that MLW was singing folks to 2-year deals worth $150 a month :mjlol:

I remember listening to a Tony Khan interview where he was talking about MJF. MJF had it in his MLW contract that he couldn't work for WWE while signed with MLW. Since AEW didn't exist whenever he signed his MLW deal, he was allowed to work for and appear on AEW television. Whenever his MLW deal came to an end, he was hesitant on signing with AEW because of how bad that MLW deal was he signed. Eventually TK convinced MJF to sign a long-term deal with AEW.

Funny enough, I'm sure Jacob Fatu's deal is probably even more limited since they learned their lesson with MJF/AEW. He's signed until 2025 to MLW :picard:
