I am hyped about Gabriel Heinze. Tremendous manager. His quality is similar to Tata's. I am pretty sure he will use this as a springboard to Argentina's national team like De Boer and Tata did to Mexico and Netherlands.

I hear different things. Some are saying he doesn’t have enough experience at a big club.

Whoever you are listening to is an idiot.
Big club isn’t the right word in hindsight

I think it’s a fair point relative to club expectations. It’s not to say he won’t do well but the expectations here will be bigger than anywhere else he has been and a manager. It would be different than Tata and FDB.

Aside from his playing days, what has he won as a manager? We don't need an inexperienced manager coming in, nor do we need a FDB-like signing. I don't know what success as a manager Heinze has experienced to date.

The only thing that would draw interest is that, he is said to be a disciple of Marcelo Bielsa, who also mentored Tata Martino. At least, Tata had some success and experience managing Barcelona, prior to Atlanta United. Heinze doesn't have that managerial pedigree yet. We'll see.

By the way, I'm a fan of Bielsa and his approach to managing. Leeds United are fun to watch. We could use some of that style here.

Heinze is supposed to be the most Bielsa of that tree. You can really can look at it both ways really. He hasn't won anything major but he's developed teams. I don't know that there any realistic candidates that have won much. Even Tata was coming of two big losses coaching the Argentina National Team.
