Jay Z working on album ‘telling his side of things’

It might be Jay Z's turn to pour out some juicy new music in response to "Lemonade."
The "99 Problems" rapper – the subject of widespread cheating speculation thanks to his wife Beyoncé's latest album – is now working on a new setlist of his own to address the infidelity rumors swirling around their relationship, Us Weekly reports.

"Jay is working on an album telling his side of things," a source close to the duo told the magazine.

The rapper's faithfulness to the "Single Ladies" singer has been questioned by fans ever since Beyoncé premiered her highly evocative new project two weeks ago on HBO.

The album is packed with eyebrow-raising lyrics, with the tell-all track "Sorry" receiving the most buzz thus far.

"Looking at my watch, he shoulda been home/ today I regret the night I put that ring on," Beyoncé sings. "He always got them f---ing excuses."

She then punctuates the infidelity anthem by repeating the line, "He better call Becky with the good hair" – prompting her rabid fan base to speculate who this so-called "Becky" really is.

Fashion designer Rachel Roy — who has been linked to Jay Z in the past — was the first to get stung by Beyoncé's Beyhive when she posted an Instagram photo shortly after the release of "Lemonade" caption, "Good hair don't care..."

British pop star Rita Ora also got swarmed after she shared a photo of herself wearing a lemon-inspired bikini with a "J" necklace.

Roy and Ora have both denied the rumors since.

Despite the ongoing suspicions by Beyoncé diehards, a source told E! News last week that Jay Z was "fully supportive" of his wife releasing the album.
"Jay was involved in the creation of Lemonade and knew every song Bey was going to release," the insider said. "He knew the lyrics; he knew the implications. He had to approve the songs before release. Jay is a very smart businessman ... Bottom line is that they are both really smart and they both saw dollar signs."
The 46-year-old Brooklyn native was spotted with Beyoncé in Miami later in the week several hours before the first concert of her "Formation" world tour, and she dedicated her performance of "Halo" to him that night.

But Beyoncé showed up alone at Monday night's Met Gala in Manhattan, reigniting the fan chatter about their relationship.

this shyt is so staged and the dummies are eating it up.

Jay and Beyonce are both very smart businesswise and knew the dopes would eat this shyt up.

And a lot of these beehive thots are so dumb and lame. Directing shots 1st at Rachel RAY (it's Roy you fukkin idiots), then worse Rachel Roy and Dame's daughter is so fukking pathetic. Ain't got no life so I gotta live through rich mufukkaz who don't even know you.

This has gotta be a work.

Since when does a couple communicate by directing albums at one another when they can just talk.

Why keep all the mystery and drama stirred up by being nebulous? They could do an interview tomorrow and just tell us what they want us to know.

JZ making an album in response is even lamer than her airing him out but staying with him.
