MJF didn’t hold anything back when talking about why Hulk Hogan gets so much criticism, though he also gave Hogan credit as an icon. The AEW World Champion appeared in Dr. Beau Hightower’s latest video and during the video, he was asked why Hogan gets so much heat from the community.

“Because he’s a liar and a racist,” MJF replied (per Fightful). “It doesn’t change the fact that he was a massive draw and the professional wrestling business will never be the same because of him, for the better, but there are plenty of professional wrestlers that did great business, it doesn’t mean they’re great people. Chris Benoit is a great professional wrestler, it doesn’t mean he’s a good person.”

He continued, “For some reason, wrestling fans kind of struggle with that. They can’t separate the two, which is why I think people love me. I’m out and out a horrible person, and I’m honest about it. At least I’m honest about it.”

I tried the the Twitter search you recommended and still finding only references to the older tweets but not the tweets themselves

I wasn't condescending at all. I don't have some secret recording of MJF saying the n-word. I don't need it, either. Like you said, there are several references to his old social media posts that were most likely deleted. I did however post a video of MJF assaulting an inncoent Black child without apologizing. I don't need to see old tweets when I have recent video.

Idk anything about him using the n word but I always did find it interesting how he used to always gaslight black fans concerns about AEW’s diversity by bringing up the fact that he’s Jewish and he’d always bring up black issues in a condescending way to prop up his issues as a Jewish person and be like “I’m Jewish we’ve been through just as much if not more!”, like when he made a tone deaf response to Kanye’s antisemitism. I also remember him co-signing Tony Khan when he shytted on Big Swole

So him shytting on hogan doesn’t impress me considering that’s an easy target and somebody who Tony Khan already banned from AEW. Speak out against Ric Flair if you really hate old bigots

Re: him saying the n word. Old deleted tweets generally resurface easily. I’d like to actually see said tweets before I assume he tweeted the N word from hearsay. And since nobody in this thread has actually posted them, I consider that accusation a non-starter until I see it

If nothing else, at least he's calling Hogan out for what he is (a racist). The wrestling industry doesn't acknowledge Hogan to some extent, but they fall short of calling a spade a spade.

I'm pretty sure Chris Van Vliet (who I'm a fan of) had no intention on applying pressure to Hogan when he interviewed him, or even thought about it. That kind of mindset would have had him shot dead six years ago.

If you want to extend him grace, that's your right. I'm not that generous. I've been on the internet long enough to not need a smoking gun to believe that a white boy from Long Island has a predilection for using that (or any) particular slur. You're more than welcome to think that everybody was making up the accusation.

It’s not about extending grace. Tweets about tweets aren’t receipts. The actual receipt was posted and I dapped it. It was requested information relevant to this thread. What’s the problem?
