Back in November right after he got back from a European tour with WWE barely having time to do his laundry Miz literally carried what would've been a boring interview with that guy, he got into banter with Sam Roberts and his co-host low key plugging their shows talking about how much he liked their work while sticking up for LaVar Ball (instead of clowning him like the host wanted) giving LaVar props on being a good father in his sons lives. He kept sequeing into promoting everything he was doing from hosting mtv challenges to being on Total Divas to his movies and even mentioned a great storyline he wanted to do involving Maryse's pregnancy that everyone agrees would've been hilarious and made him even more over.
Miz telling everyone he's unable to compete because he's on maternity leave would've been gold especially if he had the IC title when doing it.
it would've been like when Eva Marie had the self absorbed diva gimmick trolling fans having her announcer say she couldn't compete because of stress and shyt like that. The fact that they turned down that idea from Miz is what alot of you on here say about the E, that Vince should let the talent do what they want to do like coming up with their own gimmicks and storylines that are 100 times better than a lot of the forced shyt Vince makes them do when he's micromanaging.
