She wouldn’t even say anything. And I looked at it. We had lost by 61 points. I just started crying. I just started crying. I’m like, “Man, ain’t no way.”

Heavily hyped, but never saw anything special about Owens.Talk about some bullshyt. Don Nelson traded Mitch for Billy Owens who was Lamar Odom before Lamar Odom
He was one of those players that never fulfilled expectations he always just teased you
He thought Billy Owens was gonna take the Warriors to the next level
Yeah Odom was better and he showed you flashes of brilliance but could never really sustain it..Heavily hyped, but never saw anything special about Owens.
I saw it in Odom.
I mean he made the cover of Live. That's some kind of accomplishment
What was his contract situation like where he had to spend 7 seasons there?
Man it must be hard as hell being a fan of that franchise and they've had some talented players come through there too6 year, $19M deal.
He got upset with it in 1996.

The Wizards signed him to a 3 year $30M deal in 1999 after the lockout season. They had no choice since they traded Webber for him. Just terrible. They also traded Ben Wallace to Orlando for Ike Austin

3 decades plus of itMan it must be hard as hell being a fan of that franchise and they've had some talented players come through there too
Seems like the front office stay fukking up constantly
Richmond was a beast from jump in the NBA.I totally forgot the warriors had mitch with a young chris mullin and tim hardaway.
that said, mitch richmond became synonymous with the kings. plus it all worked out at the end. he put up numbers on the kings, made all star games and then got traded to the lakers just in time to get a ring
to keep it funky, his years with the kings is what got him in the HOF and his jersey retired.
Sacramento’s losing has transcended owners, coaches and players.
Richmond not cutting his hair is a telling example of the attitude. Buddy Hield
Warriors had one of the best cores in the entire league and broke it up cause Don Nelson wasn't nearly as smart as he thought he was
