:pachaha: Happens to me a lot, too. Once they start speaking Spanish to me, I'm like:

The thing is, I’m dark skin so I don’t “look like a “spanish speaker”

I be understanding Spanish tho:mjgrin:

Man I've had people think I'm any kind of Latino(rican, cuban, dominican-even threw off Dominicans when I went there on vacation). Some folks have even thought I was white (I ain't that damn light :martin:).
Most people ask me what I am or if my parents are black.

True fukkin story.

2002

I was in Columbus, Ohio, with my sisters and my now, ex wife. We were in the mall that was downtown. A Somalian woman walked up to me, talking to me in her language. I told her "I'm from Illinois", then she said "sorry" and started talking to me in English.

I probably look more like a Somalian now, than I did back then. My forehead has gotten bigger because of my hairline:mjcry:

I've never been mistaken for another ethnicity or race..I'm A.A. with a Jamaican grandma. I have had people think I was adopted or lying once they've seen my mom's family since they look Hispanic.
It's funny because I do get mistaken for the opposite gender :lolbron:. I've had people think I was a little boy. I have an androgynous face, clothing and hair style.
