Man, growin up in the Midwest, we listened to a lotta Bay Area music. shyt was a major influence. nikkaz just seemed authentic as hell and that is always respected. I was such a Bay Area stan, I even bought those T.W.D.Y. albums.
It's good to hear violent crime is goin down tho. These other cities need to smarten up. Dont give these white ppl any reason to try and take over prime real estate.

As someone who is from the 209 I can confirm that this has been going on for at least the last 10 years or so. Half the nikkas I was in highschool with were from the Bay (including myself)

At one point I did.... Still got friends in that area tho. Its exactly how @Blackthoughts said it is. We moved to that area around 2001 when prices were cheap and the real estate bubble hadn't burst yet. At the time it was (and still is) very financially feasible to commute to Silicon Valley and live in the Central valley, especially with most tech jobs offering a remote working option. Spanos tho
