Black Americans are not obligated to give empathy to Latinos who have for years not returned the favor to us. If you want to shame someone, shame the group of men who chose Trump at 54% or the illegals who stated they would vote for Trump if they could vote. You want me to change my mind on this, first get your people to show they can treat us with the same empathy that you expect us to have for them. Helping others is fine when there is reciprocation involved. Helping others who would not even piss on you to put a fire out, is just silly and pitful.

My people were the ones who voted in a manner that would benefit them the most. They on the other hand had many who voted thinking that most of the harm would fall on us, in a similar vein to how they treat Black people in their own countries. Hell, they don't even have the same empathy for each other, hince the way they voted, that you are on here expecting us to have for them. That is just ridiculous.

On a serious note, we live in a cold world. I have aunts who have been here for decades and still not citizens.

I pray for safe and fast passage to all those that are caught up. I pray the correct people are the only ones that are caught. I pray for all the children that will be lost in the system.
