From a financial perspective, Mississippi isn’t a bad place retire as contrary to popular belief, the majority of the state isn’t the slums.

As someone who has moved from a cheap state to a more expensive one in the past year, I can tell you that it is true.
I pay $700 more now in rent than I did for essentially the same place.
